| Dr. Michael Tahery is a recognized expert in treatment
of many gynecological disorders. Dr. Tahery is a graduate
of the university of California, Irvine where he received
his bachelors of science in 1986, and medical degree in
1990. He then completed a 4 year residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology at the New York University in 1994. At
New York University, Dr. Tahery was exposed to and was
trained in vaginal surgery and laparoscopic surgery by
experts in this field. |

He was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
in 1998 as an expert and specialist in treatment of female reproductive
disorders and disease.
Dr. Tahery then pursued his love of learning to further specialize
in the surgical treatment of female reproductive dysfunction
and urinary conditions. He was accepted to a highly coveted
fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Advanced Radical Pelvic Surgery
and Uro-Gynecology, and Reconstructive Vaginal Surgery. At the
Mayo Clinic, Dr. Tahery had the opportunity to learn from the
world renowned experts in the field of Gynecology and Uro-Gynecology.
After completion of his fellowship, Dr. Tahery established his
private practice in Los Angeles to be closer to his family.
Dr. Tahery has been in private practice in Los Angles for the
past 14 years and is an Assistant Professor of OB/GYN at UCLA
Geffen School of Medicine. He is a consultant and teacher to
residents and medical students at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. . Tahery is a member of American Association of Gynecological
Laparoscopists, American Uro-Gynecology Society, and American
Urology Association, and is a founding member of the Cedars-Sinai
Center for Women's Continence and Pelvic Health.
Dr. Tahery is one of the busiest Gynecological, Uro-Gynecological
Surgeons in Los Angeles and has performed more than 1000 vaginal
surgeries for pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence
as well as cosmetic repair of the female genital area; more
than 1000 laparoscopies for endometriosis, pelvic pain, and
fibroid tumors; and more than 1000 office and hospital based
hysteroscopies for evaluation and treatment of irregular vaginal
bleeding, fibroid tumors, and polyps. Dr. Tahery has published
and is engaged in research in the many aspects of his field.
Dr. Tahery's goal is to apply his years of experience and medical
and surgical expertise to evaluation and treatment of each patient
that he sees and design a treatment plan that optimizes their
health and achieve the best results possible.
